Ela Gardiner

Ela Gardiner, a Massachusetts native, has been engaged in legislative and bureaucratic advocacy at both the state and federal levels since 2021. As a former member of the Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, she played a key role in advancing policies aimed at enhancing mental health education and resources within schools. Ela has also openly shared her own experiences with mental health challenges to further advocate for systemic change. In the legislative arena, she has contributed to the drafting and support of bills designed to improve access to mental health care, particularly for students in K-12 and higher education institutions. Ela is currently pursuing a degree in Politics and Spanish & Hispanic Studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.
