Dr. Mary Jane England is a clinical professor of health law, policy & management and the recipient of the Kitty and Michael Dukakis Lifetime Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Association for Mental Health. With over 50 years of experience in the mental health field, Dr. England has made significant contributions across public, private, and academic sectors. Her career includes leadership roles such as the first commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Social Services, president of the Washington Business Group on Health, and president of Regis College, where she championed mental health advocacy. She remains active in advancing mental health services through various advisory boards and continues her dedication to improving public health.
